Job summary

Pro Search UK is seeking experienced telecoms Pre Enablement engineers to perform groundwork, civils, and infrastructure tasks before main installations. The role involves laying cables, rodding and roping, and preparing sites within customer areas to ensure a smooth connection process later.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining network equipment, cable pulling, fibre proving through underground ducts, and identifying faults while working safely in footways and cabinets.

Qualifications

• Previous pre-enablement, Cable pre pull, telecoms, network build, civils, fibre, or utility experience.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Lay cables, rodding and roping underground networks and prepare sites for later connection.
• Carry out network cable puller/pre-enablement activities.
• Install, maintain and replace network infrastructure equipment.
• Cable pulling and proving fibre cables through underground duct networks.
• Clear blockages and identify network faults.
• Work within footways, carriageways, cabinets, chambers and customer access areas.
• Use specialist tooling and civils equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and quality standards.

Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer

Pro Search UK are hiring experienced telecoms Pre Enablement engineers with experience in Cable pulling , fibre, civils, Rodding & Roping, Undeground network or network build.

A pre-enablement engineer is responsible for performing the initial groundwork, Civils and infrastructure tasks in a customer's property or area before a main installation or connection takes place.

Start date of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer :

• Immediate start available.

Pay of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer :

• Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer will be working on a competitive rate card through a self employed CIS setup.
• If you work hard and put in the effort there is no cap on your earnings.

Job Description of Telecoms Cable Puller / Pre Enablement engineer :
