Job summary

A telecommunications solutions provider in the Tees Valley area seeks a skilled technician to install and maintain telecommunication solutions. Responsibilities include diagnostics, training customers, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should be proactive in communicating with customers and ensuring equipment security and compliance with company practices.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of hosted and/or on-premise telecommunication solutions.
  • Maintenance of hosted and/or on-premise telecommunication solutions.
  • Delivery of Moves, Additions and Changes of hosted and/or on-premise telecommunication solutions.
  • Installation and maintenance of edge network devices.
  • Diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Conduct site surveys and audits, remote or on-site.
  • Ensure customer is informed during interactions.
  • Deliver bespoke customer systems training.
  • Accurately label installed equipment.
  • Work to company quality standards.
  • Leave customer equipment secure.
  • Provide security checklists when required.
  • Record voice recordings for Auto Attendant.
Job description
  • Installation of hosted and/or on-premise telecommunication solutions
  • Maintenance of hosted and/or on-premise telecommunication solutions.
  • Delivery of Moves, Additions and Changes of hosted and/or on-premise telecommunication solutions.
  • Installation and maintenance of edge network devices (Routers, Switches etc).
  • Diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Site surveys and audits, remote or on-site including collation and recording of customer requirements.
  • Ensure customer is kept up to date during any remote or on-site interactions.
  • Delivering bespoke customer systems and/or solutions training.
  • Accurate labelling of installed equipment.
  • Work to company quality standards and best practice recommendations.
  • Leaving customer equipment in a secure state.
  • Provide customer with a security check list where required.
  • Record Voice recordings for Auto Attendant if required
