Job description

Opportunities have arisen for two Telecare Control Operators to join the Care Connect Service who provide a 24/7 countywide front line service.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?
  • Assist in the provision of an equitable countywide Care Connect service
  • Assist in the Control Centre in the monitoring of the Community Alarms, CCTV system and other related functions
  • Be flexible providing support and various duties within the Care Connect service
  • Maintain and promote independent living to the customer.
  • Carrying out an assessment of the incident and contacting emergency services, GPs and next of kin.

The post has 12 hour rotating shift patterns consisting of days and nights.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

You will need to have 4 GCSEs (Graded A-C) or equivalent and a customer care background.

You will have excellent communication skills including the ability to take control in an emergency situation. You will have knowledge and experience of Information Technology and will have the ability to deal with and handle confidential information and sensitive issues.
