A local government authority in North East England is seeking Telecare Control Operators to join their Care Connect Service. This role involves assisting in the provision of services, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, and maintaining customer independence during emergency situations. The position requires strong communication skills and a customer care background. Opportunities have arisen for two Telecare Control Operators to join the Care Connect Service who provide a 24/7 countywide front line service.
The post has 12 hour rotating shift patterns consisting of days and nights.

You will need to have 4 GCSEs (Graded A-C) or equivalent and a customer care background.
You will have excellent communication skills including the ability to take control in an emergency situation. You will have knowledge and experience of Information Technology and will have the ability to deal with and handle confidential information and sensitive issues.
