Job summary

U.S. Air Forces, Europe is seeking a Recreation Specialist (Youth Activities) to plan, organize, and implement a developmentally appropriate program for base teenage youth at RAF Lakenheath. You will manage the Teen Center and coordinate recreation and leisure activities to support positive youth development.

The role requires ensuring a safe environment, administering program resources, and assisting in marketing efforts to promote the Teen program and boost participation among base families.

Qualifications

• Transcripts may be required for education-based qualifications.
• Foreign education credentials must be evaluated for equivalence to U.S. programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements a developmentally appropriate and diverse, educational, recreational, and leisure program which meets the needs of base teenage youth.
• Manages the Teen Center.
• Administers Teen Program resource programs.
• Provides a safe and healthy environment for youth.
• Assists in developing marketing strategies to promote and publicize the Teen program and increase awareness and participation.
