We’re on the hunt for a passionate Product Owner to join our Technology Department. You’ll be guiding one or more delivery teams within the Distributing Service.
As Product Owner, you’ll be leading a passionate team of developers and testers to shape the future of our data products and visualisation platforms, ensuring our customers’ needs and expectations are met. You’ll use your analysis skills and experience to assess the root cause of issues, and user asks, and to produce supporting documentation.
Our Technology Product Owner will play a pivotal role in your product’s success. Your role will not only be to help discover and define the requirements we need to ensure our solutions are fit for purpose but also to fully support the engineering teams to ensure the requirements are delivered on time.
You’ll have a knack for delivering customer requirements swiftly and to a high standard. You’ll be experienced in leading development teams and comfortable with technical concepts and discussions, as well as communicating with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and data specialists. You’ll need to be adept at balancing customer requirements, non-functional requirements, and technical debt.
Your role will involve working closely with the Service Leadership Team to shape the product roadmap, aligning with the product vision and capability/service roadmap. You’ll also break down high-level requirements into user stories to build and maintain the development backlogs. We’re looking for someone who is fully conversant with Agile delivery methodologies and is confident leading team ceremonies.
