Job summary

BAE Systems is offering a 12-week summer internship focused on supporting the development and maintenance of technology strategies and roadmaps across key technology areas. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, gaining hands-on experience and mentoring as you contribute to meaningful projects that help shape a safer future.

Start Date: June/July 2027. Successful interns may be considered for future graduate programmes and ongoing opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• On track to receive a minimum 2:2 Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• Security and export control checks apply; Baseline Personnel Security Standard required.
• Some roles may require higher-level National Security Vetting.

Entry requirements?

You'll need to be on track to receive a minimum 2:2 Bachelor's degree in any subject.

Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. What is the application process?

The stages of our application process include: a short online application. If you're successful, you'll then complete an online assessment with interactive activities, and an on-demand video interview. The next stage is a competency-based interview, either virtual or face-to-face.
