Job summary

West Monroe in London is seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our growing technology M&A practice. You will work with Private Equity and corporate clients across the transaction lifecycle, from platform acquisitions to post‑merger integration, driving technology value creation.

The role emphasizes due diligence, technology strategy, and actionable delivery, requiring strong analytics, clear communications, and the ability to navigate fast-paced project teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in management consulting, technology consulting, transaction advisory, or a tech-focused industry role.
• Experience supporting technology due diligence, M&A transactions, technology strategy, or large-scale technology transformations.
• Exposure to software, SaaS, technology-enabled businesses, or Private Equity environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience producing client-ready presentations and documentation.
• Willingness to travel as required to support client engagements.
• A degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced project teams and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support technology due diligence engagements for Private Equity and corporate clients, evaluating technology platforms, IT operations, engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product capabilities.
• Analyse technology environments to identify transaction risks, operational challenges, and opportunities to create value.
• Contribute to post-close engagements including merger integration, carve-out planning, target operating model design, technology strategy, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop analyses, presentations, and client deliverables that communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
• Work closely with client stakeholders across business and technology functions while collaborating with West Monroe teams.
• Contribute to development of methodologies, tools, and intellectual property for technology M&A offerings.
• Assist with proposals, market research, and business development activities; build professional networks.
• Stay informed on market trends across Private Equity, technology, and software.
