Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is assisting a leading London law firm to recruit a Technology & Digital Regulation Associate (2–4 PQE) in the West End. The team handles GDPR, digital regulation, and tech contracts for innovative clients across media, tech and creative industries.

The role involves taking ownership of projects, negotiating with counterparties, and advising on AI, privacy and platform regulation. Lateral growth and marketing involvement are available within a supportive, high-calibre

Qualifications

2–4 PQE required
England & Wales, New York or California qualification for London candidates
Experience in data protection/privacy and digital regulation
Interest in AI, adtech, ePrivacy and advertising regulation

Responsibilities

Handle data protection, GDPR and privacy projects
Work on digital regulation issues including DSA and EU AI Act
Draft and negotiate software licensing, SaaS and technology contracts
Advise on AI, adtech, ePrivacy and advertising regulation
Contribute to commercial contracts, including development, distribution and support agreements
