As a Technology Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the performance of a team and the delivery of technology products and services. You will set up your team for success and represent them to stakeholders and suppliers, building successful relationships across and beyond the organisation. You will find and remove blockers and inefficiencies, using data to continually encourage better ways of working, leading to better outcomes.
Joining the Home Office Technology Delivery community, you will share knowledge and experience with colleagues across the department and wider Government, building skills and helping to apply good practice and standards.
You will support the UK’s security and prosperity through the products and services that you help to deliver.
Due to business requirements this post is available on a Full Time/Flexible Working basis. Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. The National Identity and Access Management (NIAM) Programme is a flagship initiative under the National Policing Digital Strategy 2020–2030, delivered by the Home Office’s Police and Public Protection Technology unit. It aims to transform access to national policing systems by enabling secure, single sign-on capabilities across UK Police Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
This strategic programme will replace fragmented authentication systems with a federated identity and access management solution, reducing security risks and administrative burden while improving operational efficiency. NIAM leverages cutting-edge cloud and IAM technologies to support critical Home Office outcomes, including crime reduction and public confidence in the justice system. Key deliverables include onboarding legacy applications like the Police National Database and Athena IA and rolling out the new service nationwide.
