Opportunity
We’re looking for a Technology Controls Manager to join our Insurance Money and Services team. The purpose of Technology Controls is to provide Controls and Risk Management leadership enabling colleagues to make the right decision. You'll partner with Senior Leadership Team to execute and oversee a robust activity risk and control framework that identifies, prioritises risks and sets appropriate controls across all challenges of business.
Role
- Demonstrating good Leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills & good influencing skills to positively challenge and enable key stakeholders.
- Applies expertise to act as the authority on identifying, assessing, prioritising and managing risk.
- Developing and/or delivering elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Developing functional or operational policies and helping develop policy frameworks for area of responsibility or departments.
- Effective planning, organisation, prioritisation skills to efficiently meet business objectives.
- Works to monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures.
- Analyses potential solutions and creates recommendations based on the expected benefits, costs, and overall value of the solution for key stakeholders.
- Working at an advanced level to understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as our organisational structure.
- Experience in assurance activity (including control testing) of key controls.
- Reviewing, assessment, and remediation of access management related controls.
- Acting as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team.
- Maintaining external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices.
You’ll have (min exp)
- Comprehensive job-related competency and experience in own area of expertise.
- Communicating the actions needed to implement our strategy and business plan within the team; explaining the relationship to the broader Tesco mission, vision and values.
- Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.
And if you have any of these, even better
- Ideally, you’ll hold a relevant or equivalent ISACA qualification (CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP) or be willing to work towards this.
