A leading insurance provider is seeking a Technology Controls Manager in Edinburgh to oversee risk management and compliance. This hybrid role requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to assess and manage operational risks across the organization. The candidate should be proficient in developing policies and frameworks and guiding senior leadership in risk-related activities. The position offers a competitive salary of £62,800 plus benefits, including a performance-related bonus.

Office Attendance – Our roles are hybrid; you should be able to work in our offices 2 days per week.

We’re looking for a Technology Controls Manager to join our Insurance Money and Services team. The purpose of Technology Controls is to provide Controls and Risk Management leadership enabling colleagues to make the right decision. You’ll partner with Senior Leadership Team to execute and oversee a robust activity risk and control framework that identifies, prioritises risks and sets appropriate controls across all challenges of business.
You’ll be a subject matter expert who provides advice and guidance to the value stream(s) on Operational and Strategic risk matters. Helping maintain the integrity of, and compliance with, our enterprise-wide risk management framework.
Your role will help embed risk knowledge and understanding across the organisation through regular communication and on‑going knowledge sharing.
