Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Portfolio Manager to deliver technology change across the organisation in Scotland. You will manage a portfolio across Engineering, Operations, Business Systems, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Customer Solutions, driving initiatives from initiation to implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully delivering business and technology change programmes within complex organisations.
• Strong planning, governance, and risk management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
• Proactive approach.
• Commercial awareness.
• Ability to drive projects through to successful completion.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or enterprise IT environments is a bonus.
• Knowledge of Engineering Systems, ERP platforms, or other business-critical applications is a bonus.
• Experience with PRINCE2, Agile, APM, or similar project delivery methodologies is a bonus.
• Experience delivering digital transformation, automation, process improvement, or AI-enabled change initiatives is a bonus.
• Recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, PMP, or equivalent is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technology change across the organisation.
• Manage a portfolio of projects supporting Engineering, Operations, Business Systems, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Customer Solutions.
• Drive projects from initiation through implementation.
• Ensure delivery is controlled, well-governed, and aligned with business objectives.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
• Deliver meaningful change that improves efficiency, enhances capabilities, and supports long-term strategic goals.
