Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Technology and Cyber Security Risk Audit Lead to strengthen our Internal Audit plan. You will deliver IT and cyber security audits across cyber risk, infrastructure, cloud security, and IT governance, with strong stakeholder engagement and actionable recommendations.

You will plan fieldwork, produce high-quality reports, identify emerging risks, and contribute to the Internal Audit Plan while supporting transformation programmes and data governance

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Internal Audit, Information Security, Cyber Security, Technology Risk, IT Governance, Cloud Services, or Technology Operations.
• Strong understanding of IT and information security risks, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical and business processes.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical insights for a range of audiences.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with experience delivering work to tight deadlines, leading small teams, and driving tasks forward independently.

• Support and lead colleagues while contributing to transformation programmes, AI and Data Governance reviews, and other strategic change initiatives.

What You’ll Need
