Job summary

Teva in the United Kingdom seeks a biotechnology production specialist to support early development and manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products. You will perform recovery, purification, and aseptic filling steps within a GMP-compliant environment.

The role requires a degree in bioengineering/biochemistry or related fields, strong documentation skills, and teamwork. A flexible rotating shift schedule (day, evening, occasional night) is expected, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial recovery processes such as biomass lysis using high-pressure homogenizers and inclusion body separation via centrifugation.
  • Conduct purification operations including tangential flow filtration (concentration/diafiltration), depth filtration, chromatography, and protein solution formulation.
  • Carry out aseptic filling and final product preparation for storage.
  • Prepare process solutions and handle equipment cleaning, both manually and using cleaning machines.
  • Operate autoclaves for sterilization purposes.
  • Work in a flexible rotating shift system: day, evening, and (rare) night shifts.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Also Good to Have
  • Hands‑on experience with production equipment such as ultrafiltration and chromatography systems,
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing or production settings,
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements,
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Salary Range
  • Salary range of 2 000 – 2 500 Euro gross monthly
