A lifesaving charity in England is looking for a Technician to join their Regional Technical Team. You will maintain and service equipment, support technicians, and ensure all technical activities adhere to standards. The ideal candidate has mechanical and electrical engineering experience and will use mentoring to support team development. This role offers a salary of £24,242 - £28,520 and includes flexible working and numerous benefits.
We're looking for a Technician to join our Regional technical Team. The Technical team in the South East supports the RNLI through maintaining, servicing and rectifying faults on our accesses. As a Technician, you will become part of a unique, diligent and professional team, responsible for providing a high level of expertise and troubleshooting capability within the Regional Technical Team, supporting Regional as well as operational Area technical activity. You will be working with Regional Technicians, station technicians, Contractors and other technical staff, completing planned and corrective maintenance and leading difficult and complex repairs of RNLI assets and equipment across South East area. You will also be providing technical support and guidance to regional and station technicians, supporting their development and competence using mentoring and coaching. You'll be supporting your Area Technical Manager to ensure all technical activity is conducted in accordance with RNLI standards and procedures. You will be responsible for preventative & corrective maintenance, modifications on RNLI assets and equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
