JOB TITLE: Ultrasound Technician/Field Service Engineer

Our Client is the UKs leading independent expert specialising in the repair and servicing of electronic medical equipment/instrumentation : specifically Ultrasounds. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of the service they provide. They have achieved this by continually investing in cutting edge technology within their facility and, importantly, having a well trained and motivated workforce.

THE ROLE

Due to an internal promotion they now require a Trainee Service Engineer / Ultrasound Technician to carry out a dual role of Planned Preventative Maintenance of machines on clients premises and simple probe repairs when in the workshop. Your role will include;

  • Carrying out preventative maintenance on Clients sites UK wide : generally hospitals. It is estimated that you will be out an average of 3 days a week, home at night
  • Providing advice and support to customers
  • To deliver and collect loan equipment from customers
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers
  • Probe repairs when in the workshop

SALARY

Depending on experience, 10 Performance related bonus
