As a Curriculum Resource Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that teaching teams have the resources and support they need to deliver exceptional learning experiences. The role involves providing technical and administrative support to curriculum teams, maintaining resources, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Northumberland College is Ofsted Outstanding and is currently building a multi‑million, state‑of‑the‑art, new college campus in Ashington, due to open in 2026. The successful candidate will be based at the new college where a purpose‑built construction, housing, advanced manufacturing and engineering centre will be located.

Curriculum spans technical, vocational further and higher education and includes large apprenticeship provision and dedicated centres for young people with SEND. The College has two main campuses in Ashington and Ponteland, and as part of the college group Education Partnership Northeast, it also has a significant number of satellite delivery centres across the region.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain curriculum resources and equipment.
• Support teaching staff in practical sessions and demonstrations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Assist with the setup and organisation of learning environments.
• Provide technical advice and support to staff and students.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a technical or vocational area.
• English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
