Job summary

A leading electric utility company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technician specialized in Computer Hardware to perform on-site support and maintenance of electronic equipment. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities

• Perform on-site support and maintenance of computer-based control / electronic equipment, or extra-low voltage (ELV) apparatus, such as Access Control System and Video Surveillance System.
• Assist in quality control, testing and fault inspection on computer-based control / electronic equipment, or extra-low voltage (ELV) apparatus, such as Access Control System and Video Surveillance System.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in operations or maintenance of engineering system hardware or electronic equipment.
• Experience in large-scale engineering control systems an advantage.
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) an advantage.
• Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicles an advantage.
