Job summary

East Coast College in Lowestoft is seeking a technically skilled Art & Design Technician to support staff and students in the Creative and Performance Faculty. You will help prepare and maintain art resources, equipment and materials for lessons, workshops and enrichment activities, and assist with teaching materials and digital content.

The role requires technical and creative experience, strong organisation, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while collaborating with teaching

Job Title: Technician - Art and Design
Location: Lowestoft
Hours: 29.6 hours per week (0.8FTE)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (42 weeks)
Salary: Band E £25,168.50 - £25,490.00 (Full Time Equivalent)

Are you passionate about art, photography and creative education? We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Art & Design Technicianto join our Creative and Performance Faculty and play a key role in supporting both staff and students.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will help prepare and maintain resources, equipment and materials for lessons, workshops and enrichment activities. You will provide technical support within the Art & Photography department, assist with the creation of teaching materials and digital content, support students in the classroom when required, and help deliver engaging displays, exhibitions and promotional materials
