Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for their independent garage in Warrington. You will service, diagnose, repair a variety of vehicles in a well-equipped workshop, delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £38,000 base with an annual bonus, Monday to Friday hours (8:30am–5:30pm), and weekly pay. Join a friendly, family-focused team with great long-term security.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic in an independent garage, dealership or professional workshop.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to service, maintain and repair across various makes/models.
• MOT Tester licence preferred but not essential.
• Welding experience advantageous but not essential.
• Positive attitude with teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
• Completing repairs to a consistently high standard.
• Carrying out MOT testing where qualified.

• Working closely with colleagues to maintain workshop efficiency.
• Delivering excellent customer service and building trust through quality workmanship.

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of vehicles while delivering the high standards of workmanship that customers expect from a trusted independent garage.

ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic within an independent garage, dealership, or professional workshop
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• The ability to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard across a variety of vehicle makes and models
• MOT Tester Licence preferred but not essential
