Job summary

Cyrion AI seeks a contract technical writer to turn dense security findings into clear, actionable documentation. You’ll own writing across product docs, sample reports, and the public research blog for engineers and executives alike.

Responsibilities include maintaining docs.cyrion.ai with setup guides and API references, creating remediation templates, and editing terminology across product, marketing, and compliance content. This role offers flexible hours and renewable engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years writing technical documentation, ideally in security, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
• Able to read a technical finding (exploit chain, API spec, cloud misconfiguration) and explain it clearly without a subject-matter expert holding your hand.
• A portfolio of clear, well-structured technical writing.

Cyrion’s reports, docs, and public research need to be precise enough for a security engineer and clear enough for an executive. This contract role owns that writing across product docs, sample reports, and blog content.

What you'll do

• Write and maintain platform documentation (docs.cyrion.ai): setup guides, API reference, policy configuration.
• Develop report templates and remediation-guidance language used across every customer engagement.
• Collaborate with research to translate technical findings into the public research blog.
• Edit and standardize terminology across product, marketing, and compliance-facing content.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years writing technical documentation, ideally in security, infrastructure, or developer tooling.

Nice to have
