Overview

Seeking a Technical Writer with a background in hardware documentation and a solid understanding of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems. The ideal profile would involve experience in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation for complex analytical instruments, particularly focusing on hardware components, installation, operation, and maintenance. REMOTE- EAST COST

Responsibilities and focus

• Create and maintain hardware documentation for complex analytical instruments, with emphasis on installation, operation, and maintenance of HPLC systems.
• Develop clear, accurate documentation for device components, ensuring alignment with the Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC) and collaboration across teams.
• Communicate with clients as needed to ensure documentation meets requirements and expectations.

Tools & Platforms

• DITA, CMS, SAP, SDL Tridion, XMetal Editor, Confluence, Adobe Illustrator, Jira, FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, GIT

Documentation Focus

• Device documentation, client communication, DDLC, proofreading, versioning, review, collaboration

Style & Standards

• Style guide adherence, MSTP (Microsoft Manual of Style), Chicago Manual of Style

Exclusions

• Avoid profiles primarily focused on aviation domain documentation
• Avoid profiles centered around API documentation
• Avoid profiles with experience limited to MS Office tools only
