Job summary

The University of Lincoln’s School of Engineering and Physical Sciences invites applications for a Technical Tutor in Cyber Security to deliver practical sessions and support student projects at Lincoln. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the University of Lincoln’s School of Engineering and Physical Sciences for a Technical Tutor in Cyber Security.

The School of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Lincoln is a diverse community of students and staff who work together to advance knowledge and understanding across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including engineering, computer science, mathematics, and physics. The School seeks a Technical Tutor with practical skills in building and supporting applied Cyber Security systems and secure infrastructure. The post would be of particular interest for candidates who can contribute to enhancing the student learning experience through work-based learning and strengthening our practical teaching support around Cyber activities. This role is a critical component of the newly funded 5-year OfS project.

Responsibilities for the post include delivering practical undergraduate sessions, supporting Cyber-focused student projects, and supporting the school’s technical infrastructure (hardware and software) for Cyber activities. Successful applicants will have demonstrable technical experience and be able to support the School’s Cyber Security curricula. The technical tutor will be guided and mentored by the academics leading the project.

This post is based at the University’s Brayford campus.
