An excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician, Master Technician, or Learning & Development professional to move into a long-term Technical Trainer role. Following a 2 million investment into a brand-new Manchester training centre, this business is expanding its internal training team to support the development of qualified engineers through to Master Technician level.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical training to internal employees, combining classroom-based learning with hands‑on workshop training using modern tooling and bespoke facilities. Full product training is provided where required.

The Role

• Deliver technical training to qualified HGV technicians, progressing them through advanced and Master Technician levels
• Provide classroom and practical workshop‑based training using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
• Support ongoing upskilling, certification updates and internal development programmes
• Work as part of a dedicated training team within a newly built, purpose‑designed facility
• 40,000 - 46,000 salary, Company car, Up to 8% matched pension, Bonus, Cycle to work scheme, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Annual leave purchase scheme and more benefits.

The Person

• Background as an HGV Technician, Master Technician, or Technical Trainer
• Experience with Scania, MAN, Volvo or similar commercial vehicles (preferred)
• Level 3 training qualification (or willingness to work towards)
• Full UK driving licence
• Ex‑Forces, Fire Service, or Learning & Development professionals encouraged to apply
