Job description

Manpower are currently recruiting for a Technical Support & Warehouse Coordinator for a prestigious client based in Droitwich on a temporary basis.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable technical support & Warehouse Co-ordinator to take ownership of preparing, configuring, and dispatching networking equipment to our customers. While the primary focus of the role is on customer equipment setup and shipment coordination, the successful candidate will also assist with general warehouse coordination tasks across two sites during quieter periods or as needed.

Primary: Customer equipment Configuration & Pre-Enablement
  • Order and coordinate delivery of preconfigured equipment and networking equipment for broadband services, ensuring compatibility with specific access technologies (e.g. SoGEA, FTTP, FWA etc).
  • Test all devices to ensure full functionality and reliability before dispatch.
  • Maintain detailed records of configurations, serial numbers, MAC addresses and shipment tracking in approved systems.
  • Follow standardised setup procedures and liaise with the IT/networking team to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.
  • Track inventory levels for routers, SIMs, and associated hardware to avoid stock shortages.
Primary: Customer Shipment & Dispatch
  • Organise timely and accurate dispatch of configured equipment to customers.
  • Ensure all items are securely packed, correctly labelled, and accompanied by the appropriate documentation.
  • Coordinate with couriers or freight services to ensure reliable delivery.
  • Track and monitor shipments, updating internal systems and communicating delivery status where necessary.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Technical experience in networking, particularly with customer equipment configuration.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Basic understanding of IT and networking principles.
  • Experience using inventory management and shipping systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Proven experience in service provisioning, operations coordination, or telecom administration.
  • Strong understanding of mobile networks, broadband services, residential VOIP, and customer premises equipment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple service requests and priorities.
  • Comfortable using internal platforms (CRM, order systems, Excel, ticketing tools) to manage service lifecycle tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or equipment suppliers.
  • Experience with inventory or dispatch software.
  • Forklift license or warehouse handling certifications (a plus but not essential).

This is a temporary position for 4 - 8 weeks with an immediate start paying £13.50 per hour.
