We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Officer 12 Month FTC to join Norgine.

Core Responsibilities

Providing technical support for project implementation in relation to new and existing PEG Product projects for all Norgine sites, Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO) and partners.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • To provide technical support for the introduction of new suppliers for raw materials and packaging materials, new processes, line extensions and CI initiatives.
  • Provide technical support utilising lean six sigma techniques for investigations linked to Quality Events, Customer Complaints and IMC actions. Provide technical recommendations, co-ordinate and execute CAPA’s.
  • Project implementation support and assistance with formal reporting of approved Technical Operations projects for the introduction of new products/packaging materials, new processes, line extensions, technical transfers and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide Technical support for Process Validation and Performance Qualification of PEG Products at the Hengoed site and for proposed validation strategies.
  • Provide Technical support for Local Change Controls. Provide support for impact assessments. Support and/or coordinate the action plans.
  • Assistance with maintaining compliance for all products within the Portfolio in accordance with GxP and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to the Technical Operations function in the implementation and support of Technical activities.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Technical qualification is desirable but not essential, relevant experience will also be considered acceptable
  • Experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry ideally with experience in a Technical role.
  • Experience of working with technical initiatives within a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Understanding of the Regulatory compliance requirements within Europe, Japan and the USA.
  • Understanding of the methodologies used in delivering projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the participation of root cause analysis investigations utilising lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Ability to support cross functional projects to deliver against key project milestones and deadlines.
  • Mind-set to question the current situation and have the drive to make improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English (Other languages desirable e.g. French or German) with the ability to present effectively to small groups.
  • Excellent influencing skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all levels.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Ability to work well under own supervision and complete tasks within the agreed timeframe.
