Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance repair diagnostic capability across the product range
  • Manage interactions with airlines regarding technical enquiries
  • Assess and develop equipment for modification/upgrade opportunities
  • Represent BAE Systems CAS (Control Avionics Solutions) during customer meetings and technical aircraft conferences
  • Interface closely with other functions within the project. As the Product Support Engineering Team Leader, you will report to the Rochester Service Centre Production Leader, lead a team of Product Support Engineers, and be responsible for their day‑to‑day activities in supporting the resolution of technical issues within the Service Centre, enhancing its technical capability
  • Able to confidently lead on troubleshooting activities
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in diagnostics and repair/maintenance of electronic equipment to component level – analogue and digital circuits
  • Desirable: Team management / supervisory experience
  • Desirable: Experience in working to EASA Part 145 Regulations
  • Desirable: Experience gained with a civil aviation repairs environment (CMM / SIL)
