Client Overview

We're supporting a leading UK-based manufacturer of sensor technology for industrial manufacturing processes. Their systems are installed globally across process industries, and they’re now looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their close-knit, expert team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers, resellers, and integrators.
  • Visit customer sites in the UK (monthly) and internationally (2–3 times a year) to test and evaluate sensor performance.
  • Conduct product testing, materials analysis, and system integration to ensure application suitability.
  • Assist in the development of installation procedures, technical guides, and training documentation.
  • Run training sessions and support product demonstrations both remotely and in person.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the internal R&D team on performance and product improvements.
Skill Required
  • A background in industrial machinery and/or manufacturing, process instrumentation, or sensor/control systems.
  • Degree, HND, or Level 5 Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Professional, confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable visiting customer sites and adapting to varied environments.
  • Experience writing technical documentation, user guides, or knowledge base content.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
