A leading defence service provider in the UK is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide expertise in troubleshooting Building Services Plant and Control Systems. The role requires a BTEC Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering and knowledge of HVAC systems. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment while enjoying a competitive salary and extensive employee benefits.
Salary: £48,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends
Location: Warminster with occasional travel to Larkhill

A BTEC Level 3 Trade Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is required for this role. Or alternatively, appropriate job-related experience.
Knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Heating and Hot Water Systems is essential for this role, as is the ability to read system schematic drawings.
It is imperative to have good interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication. A strong skillset comprising of diagnostic, troubleshooting and analytical skills is also essential; alongside a logical and rigorous approach to problem solving.
