Are you passionate about supporting manufacturing excellence and driving continuous improvement? Join our team as a Technical Support Engineer, where you'll play a vital role in enabling production success on the shopfloor. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of aircraft manufacturing, supporting operational excellence and making a real impact every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide hands‑on technical support to the production team, resolving issues on the shopfloor and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for technical queries, escalating complex problems to specialist teams when needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimise processes and eliminate waste (LEAN).
  • Manage work orders, including out‑of‑cycle tasks, and prioritise execution of serial and rework orders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality, health & safety, and logistics standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with the maintenance and improvement of industrial assets, including tools and jigs.
  • Contribute to capacity management and anticipate changes in production needs.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring EH&S standards are visible and applied on the shopfloor.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing, aviation, lineside, or production environment is essential.
  • Strong practical problem‑solving skills and a systematic, organised approach.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Excellent teamwork, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with SAP and lean manufacturing principles is desirable.
  • Project Engineer backgrounds are welcome.
