Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of PLC and HMI systems (Schneider preferred, Ladder Logic / ST).
  • Solid electro-mechanical engineering background.
  • Able to interpret wiring diagrams and follow control system documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with global customers professionally.

  • Provide technical support to customers by email, phone, and in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve product faults, liaising with internal teams where required.
  • Manage warranty and service cases, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
  • Support production in resolving technical issues related to wiring, PLCs, HMIs, and mechanical assembly.

Technical Support Engineer - Customer Support

Location: Tamworth
Salary: £47,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08.00 to 16.45 / Friday, 08.00 to 13.00

The Role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll deliver professional pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, distributors, and agents across global markets. You'll assist in resolving product issues, troubleshooting technical faults, and ensuring customers receive excellent service throughout the support process.
