Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking an HV Technical Supervisor to support a large data centre contract as No.2 to the Technical Manager. The role focuses on HV switching operations, site supervision, and planned progression toward Site Assistant Project Manager while aiding M&E teams during breakdowns.

The position requires 18th Edition and Level 3 electrical qualifications, with extensive data centre exposure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handling operational aspects of approx. 500+ HV switches, 50+ transformers, and 20+ HV DRUPS.
• Appointment to site HV role within first 90 days.
• Advance to becoming Site Assistant Project Manager (SAP) (No.2) for the site in future.
• Provide technical assistance to the M&E shift teams for breakdowns.
• Permit authorisation.
• Compliance and logbook responsibilities.
• Technical onsite training, including site scenario testing and HV competency testing.

Overview

A brand new vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion and contract expansion as an HV Technical Supervisor. It will be a No.2 role to the current Technical Manager on a very large, global Data Centre contract.

Qualifications

• Practicing HV switching, current HV qualification.
• 18th Edition, 2nd amendment.
• Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Experience in Data Centres.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: £62,000 (subject to fit and exceptional candidates).
• Annual leave: 25 days.
