Marqeta is seeking a Technical Success Senior Analyst to lead the technical onboarding of standardized products and support customers through implementation. This hybrid role requires proximity to our London office, with on-site two days a week and remote work on other days.

You will interface with full stack engineers and executives, develop deep product expertise, and ensure successful customer outcomes while driving scalable onboarding practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementations: configure and deploy standardised products for new customers and coordinate with engineers and leadership.
  • Guide customers through their integration journey, focusing on APIs and data flows.
  • Develop product expertise and create customer-facing runbooks and training content to scale knowledge.
  • Advocate for customers by feeding back insights to product and support teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Project, Product, Sales, and Account teams to align client goals.

Technical Success Senior Analyst

Marqeta is looking for a Technical Success Senior Analyst to join our operations team and play a critical role in delivering Marqeta’s cutting‑edge card issuing and payments platform to new customers. You’ll lead the technical onboarding of standardized products, support customers through implementation, and become a trusted voice both internally and externally. This role blends product expertise, customer advocacy, and a collaborative mindset to drive long‑term client success and improve our implementation practices. If you’re motivated by building strong customer relationships, solving technical problems, and contributing to team growth, this could be the role for you.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role and requires employees to be based within 35 miles of our London office. You will be expected to work on‑site two days a week, on Tuesday and Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on the other days.

The Impact You’ll Have
  • Lead Implementations: Own the configuration and deployment of Marqeta’s standardised products and services for new customers, interfacing with everyone from full stack engineers to founders/CEOs.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the technical expert guiding customers through their integration journey, especially with our APIs
  • Build Product Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of specific Marqeta products and services; create customer slide presentations, internal runbooks and training content to scale team knowledge.
  • Advocate for Customers: Provide feedback to internal teams that reflects the customer’s voice and ensures our product evolves to meet real‑world needs.
  • Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Partner with Marqeta’s Project Managers, Product Managers, Sales, and Account Management to align and execute on client goals.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical customer‑facing role (e.g., solutions engineering, technical onboarding, or technical support).
  • Exceptional communication skills - you can explain complex technical concepts to anyone orally and in writing. Your friends and family consider you their go‑to person for understanding new technologies
  • Ability to manage projects independently and take initiative in solving problems.
  • Expert proficiency in REST APIs, SQL and hands‑on experience with Datadog or equivalent APM/observability tooling.
  • Comfortable working across teams and building relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A customer‑first mindset; skilled at understanding customer needs and designing practical solutions.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect daily work to broader business goals and team priorities.
  • Commitment to learning and contributing to the growth of others on the team.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of fintech (e.g. acquiring, networks, point‑of‑sale) and card payments background, especially on the issuing side.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work unsupervised against aggressive schedules.
Nice‑To‑Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of fintech (e.g. acquiring, networks [Visa/Mastercard], point‑of‑sale) and card payments background, especially on the issuing side.
  • Experience with Marqeta or similar fintech platforms.
  • Ability to read technical documentation or basic code (e.g., JSON, SQL, scripting).
  • Background in training, enablement, or documentation.
  • Knowledge of customer onboarding or implementation processes in a SaaS or fintech environment.
