Responsibilities

Description of Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to our dedicated and friendly team.

Our Professional Services teams are responsible for designing solutions for new and existing clients and acting as technical design authority on all projects across the Safety and Security product set which includes Fire and Intruder Alarms systems, CCTV, Access Control, Public address & Voice Alarm systems, and integrated solutions such as analytics.

You will be responsible for owning and delivering technical integration and configuration in the companies safety and security technology solutions and services. Delivering both internally and externally, you will play a key role in the sectors safety and security support and services.

This role will report to the Operations Manager – Defence and Justice and include a programme of mentored training and development to assist the individual as required, but also with a view to future progression and succession planning.

For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required.

  • Surveys, design, implementation, quoting, commissioning and customer support
  • Adhering to compliance requirements for Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Information Security and Data Protection relevant to your job, function and location.
  • Install, configure, and commission security systems: Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection.
  • Complete project documentation: test results, commissioning reports, as-builts, and handover packs.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support health & safety compliance on client sites.
Qualifications
  • Provide technical support to Sales to design solutions.
  • Experience of configuring and integrating S&S solutions and designs
  • 3-5 years’ experience delivering physical security projects (access control, CCTV, IDS).
  • Proven structured cabling experience — including installation, termination, and testing of copper and fibre systems.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Honeywell etc).
  • Good understanding of IP networking as it relates to physical security (PoE, VLANs, addressing).
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Milestone, structured cabling certifications) are a plus.
  • Full driving license.
