Job Overview

Part time permanent. Location: York.

Salary

£30,378 to £33,951 per annum (£28,325 to £31,657 pro rata).

Team

You will join a team of Technical Specialists, providing dedicated technical support across some of our most vibrant and creative subject areas, including Music, Music Production, Musical Theatre and Drama. You will support students and staff in the use of specialist facilities, providing direction, demonstrations, and ensuring the appropriate management of specialist spaces and equipment.

Role

We are seeking a motivated and technical minded individual who works well as part of a team while also being able to work autonomously. All team members share a passion for supporting others in a creative and supportive environment.

Required skills and experience

The successful candidate will have experience of working at a technical level in studio and live performance environments. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of previously working in higher education is desirable but not essential.

Working pattern

The working hours will be confirmed on offer. Evening work is required during peak times in the year.
