Job summary

A leading analytical instrumentation firm is seeking an accomplished LC-MS Technical Specialist. This role involves working from home in the North of England or Scotland, with approximately 50% travel to customer sites. You will support the sales team and provide training on the latest LC-MS technology. Required qualifications include at least 3 years of experience with LC-MS instruments and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' experience with LC-MS instruments (including QQQ and/or QTOF).
  • Understanding of method development, optimisation and troubleshooting (ideally small molecule analysis).
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting scientific information.

Work Location: North of England or Scotland

A world leader in analytical instrumentation is seeking an accomplished, ambitious and commercially astute LC-MS Technical Specialist.

Acting as a Technical Expert your time will be split between the lab and visiting customers in pre and post-sales support functions.

Responsibilities
  • Aiding in the development of customer methods
  • Demonstrating methods/proof of concept
  • Technical support to the sales team
  • Providing customer training and support
  • Attending high profile industry conferences, presenting technological advancements and helping to build the company's customer base with a focus on mass spectrometry instrumentation

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced scientist to utilise their wealth of LC-MS, method development/troubleshooting experience in a new exciting role and work with the company's latest LC-MS/MS technology.

For this role, you can be based from home in the North of England or Scotland.

You are expected to travel approx. 50% of the working week to customer sites around the North of England & Scotland and the applications laboratory in Milton Keynes with the occasional overnight stay.

Qualifications
