Bramwith Consulting in London is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect for a major oil & gas client to provide technical oversight of local IT infrastructure and technology landscape, coordinating with Group IT and external providers.

You'll work 3 days in the Central London office with 2 days remote, acting as primary technical interface for local applications, monitoring performance, and guiding upgrades, migrations and future capabilities with focus on cloud adoption and integration.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in technical/solution architecture for blue-chip multinational.
• Experience supporting London IT infrastructure within an international HQ.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, applications and integrations.
• Experience with infrastructure changes, upgrades, migrations and decommissioning.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related subject.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a broad understanding of the local technology landscape across infrastructure, network, applications, cloud services and data flows.
• Manage intake and prioritisation of business demands, refine requirements, and support small changes, releases and enhancements.
• Act as technical interface with Group IT to align local needs with architecture and cybersecurity standards.
• Oversee vendor performance, ensuring service quality and contractual alignment.
• Support lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, rationalisation and decommissioning.
• Contribute to modernisation, automation, cloud adoption and better integration.
• Support evaluation and adoption of new applications, cloud services and AI-enabled solutions.

Technical Solutions Architect– Oil & Gas Major - £75k Basic

Global energy trading arm of oil & gas major seeks a Technical Solutions Architect to provide technical oversight of the local IT infrastructure and technology landscape, coordinating with Group IT teams and external providers, and supporting the delivery and evolution of effective technology solutions.

Role & responsibilities

Working 3 days per week out of their Central London office with 2 days working remotely / working from home, you’ll work as the primary point of contact for all BAU activities across local applications and services, monitoring performance, identifying operational risks, and ensuring timely incident resolution through close coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain a broad understanding of the local technology landscape, including infrastructure, network, applications, cloud services, integrations, data flows and key external dependencies.
• Manage the intake, clarification, and prioritisation of business demands, maintaining structured registers, refining requirements, and supporting the full lifecycle of small changes, releases, and functional enhancements.
• Act as a key technical interface with Group IT teams, ensuring local technology needs and initiatives are aligned with Group architecture, cybersecurity standards and strategic direction.
• Oversee vendor performance for assigned applications and services, ensuring service quality, contractual alignment, and effective issue escalation.
• Support technology lifecycle activities, including upgrades, migrations, rationalisation and decommissioning, with a focus on reducing legacy complexity and enabling future capabilities.
• Contribute to the evolution and modernisation of the local technology landscape, identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, cloud adoption and improved integration.
• Support the evaluation and adoption of new applications, cloud services, AI-enabled solutions and other emerging technologies, considering technical feasibility, integration, security and operational impact.

Salary: £75k basic + bonus + excellent benefits
