Job Overview – Technical Services Manager, Fluid Power

The Technical Services Manager role is twofold: you will act as the Technical Lead for our hydraulic workshop, providing solutions to service and repair hydraulic power packs, and drive the development of our technical services offering. You will also play a key role in business development, engaging our branch network and upselling value‑added solutions to customers.

Work is 50/50 between office/site and customer visits. The role offers a competitive salary, company vehicle, and a full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mentor a team of six technicians.
  • Understand current service offerings and develop strategies for growth opportunities.
  • Build relationships across the branch network, providing technical expertise and assistance.
  • Visit and build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical advice and support on services and solutions.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, including presentations and demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the wider branch network on quotations and enquiries.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong technical background in fluid power and hydraulics.
  • Confident, engaging, and collaborative communication style.
  • Experience managing and developing a small team.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities within a dynamic environment.
  • Good level of computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Hours
