We're looking for a driven and passionate Technical Services Manager to join our dynamic team at VIVO, supporting a prestigious high‑security site at DSTL, Salisbury. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and want to be part of something that truly matters – this is your next move.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a skilled team of engineers and operatives, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to the highest standards.
  • Maintain compliance, meet KPIs, and uphold the safety and security of the high‑security site.
  • Advise the client, manage remedial works, review inspection reports, and ensure all health and safety documentation is up to date.
  • Take ownership of billable works up to £25 000, oversee CAFM maintenance scheduling, and ensure asset updates are recorded accurately.
  • Build strong relationships with DSTL stakeholders, VIVO colleagues, and our trusted supply chain.
  • Develop talent, mentor apprentices, and contribute to succession planning and long‑term team development.
Key Qualifications
  • Technical qualification (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or equivalent) or sufficient technical knowledge within a hard services FM environment.
  • Experience managing contractors and ensuring compliance.
  • Reliability, self‑motivation, and excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literate with ability to work with data and use CAFM systems.
  • SMSTS and SC clearance is a bonus; prior MOD experience is a definite plus.
