Job Title: Technical Services Manager
Location: City of London (with occasional regional travel)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits

Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager to oversee a prestigious City of London asset, working for a managing agent. This role will take full responsibility for hard FM services representing the landlord, service delivery, and contractor management, while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage all hard FM services, including M&E, BMS, HVAC, life safety, and critical plant.
• Act as HVAP/LVAP lead for switching and shutdowns, ensuring safe systems of work.
• Deliver against all SLA/KPI targets and drive service excellence across the portfolio.
• Oversee technical budgets, risk management, and long-term asset lifecycle planning.
• Lead and inspire FM teams and contractors, ensuring consistent high performance.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, occupiers, and managing agent clients.

Qualifications / What We're Looking For

• Proven FM experience within managing agent, landlord, end-user or client direct environments.
• Strong hard services/technical background - ideally fully multi-skilled (electrical/mechanical).
• HVAP / LVAP or significant high-voltage switching/shutdown experience.
• Qualifications: HNC/HND or equivalent technical M&E qualifications.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client engagement skills.
