We are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of engineering and electronic security services for a prestigious site in London. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall engineering management, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring seamless service delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing third-party contractors and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractor Management: Oversee and coordinate the performance of various contractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
- Problem-Solving: Navigate and resolve day-to-day technical issues efficiently, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Technical Oversight: Manage routine technical operations, ensuring all systems function optimally and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Analytical Reporting: Utilize strong analytical skills to manage spreadsheets, track performance metrics, and prepare reports on technical services.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities meet health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for all tenants and staff.
- Permits & Regulations: Assist in obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience: Relevant experience in technical services or facilities management, with a solid understanding of contractor management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software; ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues as they arise.
- Knowledge of Compliance: Familiarity with health and safety regulations, permits, and compliance requirements in a commercial property setting.

- Technical Qualifications as well as IOSH/NEBOSH.
