The team
Our Growth team is dedicated to driving digital success through SEO, PPC, Content Marketing, and Digital Analytics. We ensure websites are fast, crawlable, and optimised for search engines, helping our clients improve visibility, rankings, and conversions.

We collaborate closely with developers, designers, and marketing strategists to deliver search-first digital experiences. Whether it’s a complex site migration, a structured data strategy, or optimising Core Web Vitals, our team blends technical expertise with creative problem-solving to drive measurable results.

What you’ll be doing
As a Technical SEO Manager at CTI Digital, you’ll lead and deliver advanced SEO strategies, ensuring our clients' websites are technically sound and built for long-term success. You’ll oversee site migrations, technical audits, and optimisation strategies, while mentoring junior team members and working closely with developers to ensure best practices are implemented.

As a CTI Technical SEO Manager, you will:

  1. Lead & Implement Technical SEO Strategies – Oversee audits, optimise site architecture, and improve performance across client websites.
  2. Manage Website Migrations & Technical Projects – Ensure smooth transitions for site moves, replatforming, and domain migrations.
  3. Monitor & Analyse SEO Performance – Use data-driven insights to identify issues, uncover opportunities, and drive strategy improvements.
  4. Collaborate with Developers & Content Teams – Work closely with engineers to implement SEO best practices and ensure search-friendly site builds.
  5. Client Communication & Strategy – Present insights, recommendations, and reports to clients, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
  6. Stay Ahead of SEO Trends & Algorithm Updates – Keep up with Google updates, industry innovations, and emerging best practices.
  7. Mentor & Develop the SEO Team – Provide guidance, training, and support to junior SEO specialists, ensuring the team stays at the forefront of technical SEO.

What you need to be successful
To excel as a Technical SEO Manager at CTI Digital, you’ll need a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on expertise, and strong leadership skills. Key experience includes:

  1. Proven Technical SEO Expertise – Experience leading SEO strategies, performing audits, and implementing best practices across large-scale websites.
  2. Advanced Site Architecture & Technical Knowledge – Strong understanding of crawling, indexing, and structured data.
  3. SEO Toolset Proficiency – Skilled in using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Sitebulb, and SEOmonitor (don't worry, we’re not expecting you to know them all!).
  4. Experience with CMS Platforms – Working knowledge of CMS Platforms - we use Magento, Drupal, Umbraco, and WordPress from an SEO perspective.
  5. Hands-on Site Migration Experience – Managing domain changes, URL restructures, and ensuring SEO continuity post-launch.
  6. Client & Stakeholder Communication – Ability to present SEO insights clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  7. Data-Driven Mindset – Ability to translate analytics and performance data into actionable SEO strategies with measurable impact.
