Job summary

ThePlaceToBe in Leeds is recruiting a Senior Technical SEO Manager to join a growing SEO team. You’ll lead technical SEO campaigns, audits, migrations and reporting for key clients, working closely with Executives and clients in a hybrid Leeds-based role.

You will craft strategic technical SEO plans, supervise junior team members, and communicate progress and opportunities to clients regularly, ensuring high performance across campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience within a SEO focused role.
• Be able to conduct technical crawls, audits, migrations and tagging.
• A user of tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and many more.
• Be confident enough to speak to clients regularly and manage junior members of the team.
• Digital Marketing Agency experience (not essential).
• You must be able to commute to Leeds, 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day technical optimisation of client sites.
• Look after site crawl logs and conduct technical SEO site audits.
• Work with a team of SEO Executives and delegate out junior tasks.
• Use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to create detailed reports on SEO campaigns.
• Oversee any technical website migrations.
• Liaise with clients regularly to ensure that they are kept up to date on campaign performance and suggest any possible improvements.

About the role...

As a Senior Technical SEO Manager you’ll join a growing SEO department and assist with the activation and strategic planning of Technical SEO campaigns for a selection of the agency’s key clients
