Technical Sales Project Manager – Full Time, Permanent – King’s Lynn – £45,000–£48,000 P.A + Annual Bonus

The company manages projects from initial design through to installation, commissioning, and after‑sales support, ensuring each solution is tailored to client needs.

Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Technical Sales Project Manager to lead a team of 10 in a busy sales and projects office. You’ll oversee quotations, order processing, and customer enquiries while driving improvements to processes and ensuring a first‑class customer experience. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you’ll have the authority to implement change, own your department, and play a key role in the company’s continued growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of 10 (1:1s, appraisals, performance management).
  • Oversee customer quotations, orders and enquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Monitor, capture and report on cost variations for projects.
  • Confidently explain commercial variations to clients and secure uplifted order values.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing lessons learned and streamlining processes.
  • Collaborate with installations and distribution teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Play a key role in implementing new Sage 200 systems.
  • Establish and track KPIs to balance team workload effectively.
  • Produce regular performance reports and quarterly appraisals.
What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing sales, projects, estimators or similar.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience with costings or quotations.
  • Highly computer literate (MS Word, Excel; training provided on internal systems).
  • Commercial awareness and confidence when speaking with customers.
  • Process‑driven with a proactive, “can‑do” approach.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Benefits
  • Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 P.A (depending on experience).

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (office based).
