  • Manage key projects from start to completion with regular updates.
  • Collaborate with Specification, Developer, Key Account teams.
  • Generate technical sales enquiries and convert them into orders.
  • Maintain a managed project log and provide weekly sales forecasts.

Role Overview

Responsible for developing product sales across a defined geographical area and achieving set area sales budgets, covering the North East of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the company professionally and positively at all times.
  • Develop a strategic network of key contractors and secure project business for the Civils product portfolio.
  • Manage key projects from start to completion with regular updates.
  • Collaborate with Specification, Developer, Key Account teams, and the wider Polypipe Group.
  • Maintain close working relationships with internal departments including sales, technical, and commercial teams.
  • Generate technical sales enquiries and convert them into orders.
  • Maintain technical competence across the full Civils product range.
  • Grow the supply chain by working closely with key merchant groups.
  • Report market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Maintain a managed project log and provide weekly sales forecasts.
Skills and Experience
  • Commercial and technical sales experience.
  • Proven record in developing new and existing business.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful pitches.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable and self-motivated.
