Job summary

Proslipsi Recruitment Specialist is seeking a technically credible Technical Sales Manager for engineering components. You will translate complex engineering solutions into clear business value, maintain existing customers and drive growth through new opportunities.

The role requires a strong engineering background, especially in CNC machining and metal cutting, plus the ability to discuss tolerances and materials with specialists. Occasional travel to the USA and Europe may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, solution sales, or business development within an engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining and metal cutting processes.
• Ability to understand complex products, systems or services and explain them clearly.
• Ability to discuss component design, tolerances and materials with engineering specialists.

Technical Sales Manager- Engineering

We are looking for a commercially focused Technical Sales Manager to grow revenue by translating complex engineering solutions into clear business value for customers. Maintain our current customer base and drive the next phase of business growth. The ideal candidate combines a strong engineering background within components, with a genuine understanding of precision engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow sales of precisions components.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within target markets.
• Understand customers' technical and commercial requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Grow existing accounts through renewals, cross-selling, and upselling.
• Engage directly with customers to understand applications that may provide opportunities for business growth.
• Support exhibitions, conferences, partner activities, and other business-development initiatives.
• Lead commercial negotiations adhering to company approved pricing structure, supply agreement, and long-term contractual agreements.

Essential Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in technical sales, solution sales, business development, or account management within an engineering environment
• Strong understanding of CNC machining and metal cutting processes
• Ability to understand complex products, systems, or services and explain them clearly.
• Ability to discuss component design, tolerances, and materials with engineering technical specialists.
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills of commercial agreements and long-term supply contracts
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel overseas including the USA and Europe when required.
