Job summary

A specialist engineering company based in Chesterfield is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to support their sales team. You will maintain strong customer relationships, identify solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, ideally within materials handling, and sales experience. This role includes a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, Monday to Friday hours, and additional benefits like holidays and pension schemes.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge, ideally within materials handling, specifically automation or vacuum technology.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical and creative thinking.
• Ideally 3+ years' experience in an Application Engineer or similar technical role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships within target accounts.
• Collaborate closely with sales colleagues to deliver technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
• Handle customer queries (phone/email) including technical support, pricing and delivery updates.
