Our client is a leading electronics products manufacturer, who are experiencing rapid growth, and value motivated individuals looking to progress their career. They are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to work closely with customers, providing technical insight, and spot new business opportunities. This role will take projects from the enquiry stage through to delivery. The right person will have experience within the aerospace industry, and have a technical background using CAD.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers through upselling and exceptional service
  • Handle new enquiries, monitor emails, and manage calls in a fast-paced desk-based environment
  • Oversee multiple live projects simultaneously, ensuring all are prioritised and actioned efficiently
  • Collaborate with customers to understand layouts, product needs, and technical requirements
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and establish clear delivery timeframes
  • Work closely with the design team to develop tailored concepts and present them to clients
  • Deliver product presentations, answer technical questions, and guide customers from quotation to delivery
  • Travel monthly across the UK, Europe, and the US to meet clients and showcase solutions
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Must have experience in the aerospace industry
  • Engineering or design background to collaborate with technical teams and advise customers
  • Basic understanding of CAD software
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills for quoting, negotiating, and presenting to clients
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to travel monthly across the UK, Europe, and the US (expenses covered)
