Job summary

Kingston Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a well established manufacturing business is seeking a Sales Administrator to provide technical support within a busy customer-focused team.

The role involves interpreting customer specifications, preparing quotations and translating requirements into accurate sales orders, working with Sales, Production, Planning and Despatch to ensure orders move from quotation to delivery.

We are working on behalf of a well established manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Administrator to provide technical support within a busy customer-focused team. The successful candidate will use their technical understanding to interpret customer specifications, prepare quotations and translate requirements into accurate sales orders. Working closely with customers, Sales, Production, Planning and Despatch, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently from quotation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
  • Deal directly with customers regarding technical and order queries.
  • Liaise closely with Production, Planning, Sales and Despatch teams.
  • Monitor order progress and provide customers with timely updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records using internal ERP systems.
The Candidate

A previous knowledge of the caravan or modular industries, doors or glazing products is essential.

The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.

Previous experience in sales order processing, technical administration or a similar customer-facing role.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good IT skills and experience using ERP systems.

The ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.

A proactive, organised and methodical approach to your work.

The ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
