A global digital strategy firm is seeking a Business Analyst with strong quantitative and risk technology expertise to support a high-profile Potential Future Exposure implementation project. This role involves leading technical analysis, validating models, and working closely with risk teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates have a background in credit risk and proven abilities in stakeholder communication. The position is based in the City of London.

Qualifications

  • Experience in credit risk and investment banking domains.
  • Solid understanding of LCR, NSFR, LE, and liquidity stress testing.
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and functional specs.

Job description

As a Risk Technology Business Analyst, you'll be part of a dynamic team driving the delivery of PFE capabilities. You'll work closely with risk quants, technology teams, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and test infrastructure updates and methodologies for credit risk monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical analysis and design of infrastructure updates for PFE implementation
  • Document detailed user requirements and validate pricing/simulation models using Markit FRA
  • Map trade and market data from source systems to FraimWRX format
  • Collaborate with risk quants to align product mappings with PFE methodologies
  • Define solutions for end‑of‑day/intraday credit risk monitoring
  • Coordinate with project managers and vendors to validate delivery schedules and updates
  • Develop and execute testing strategies for new product development
  • Ensure smooth handover of new processes to production teams
  • Act as a Risk Technology SME within the One Platform Initiative
  • Build strong relationships across risk analytics, market/credit risk management, and front office teams
Qualifications
  • Experience in credit risk and investment banking domains
  • Strong background in PFE solutions for IR, FX, and loan products
  • Quantitative mindset with experience in advanced credit risk models
  • Hands‑on experience with FraimWRX, S&P Global, or similar pricing/risk engines
  • Solid understanding of LCR, NSFR, LE, and liquidity stress testing
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and functional specs
  • Experience in UAT planning and execution
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
Nice to Have
  • Experience with FraimWRX and/or Murex
  • Technical familiarity with SQL or .NET
  • Exposure to regulatory‑driven transformation projects
